| The following guidelines provide information on Records and Archives Office best practice processes. Although several of these documents are currently entitled 'policy', they are best defined as guidelines, providing information and advice on their chosen topics. Some guidelines may be affected by the forthcoming review of UNSW's Recordkeeping Policy. The guidelines specify that "sponsors and approval authorities must ensure that all information relating to the proposed commercial activity is recorded on a Registered File for that activity", they also go on to specify other records which must be captured on a registered file.
