How to Access Existing Files

We offer you several options to access existing UNSW TRIM files.

You can email or phone us. We are happy to help you find the file you require. We also can provide list of files in Excel spreadsheet.

Another way is, by using our self service option, TRIM WebClient (the web-based version of TRIM), which allows you to view and request retrieval of existing TRIM records online. Learn more.

File Delivery

We deliver files across Chancellery units every weekday between 10.30-11am. For all other areas we use Internal Mail service, please allow 2-3 days for delivery.

The information of your office address, we will refer from UNSW Website Staff directory. If the address is incorrect, please advise us. To update your address, please login into myUNSW, click the My Staff Profile tab - Personal Details - Staff Directory.

Should you require the file more urgently, it can be retained in the Records Office for collection, simply email to or phone us.

Original contracts or agreements

Original contracts or agreements received by the Records and Achives Office are retained in our Document Safe and a copy placed on file. If you require access to the original, please contact us directly, these are not normally supplied for safekeeping reasons, but can be on special request.
