    Description
    This series contains lists of members of the Developmental Council and its Committees. The material is generally typed, though some annotations have been made to the lists in pencil and ink. First to be listed are the members of the entire Council, with the Committees following in alphabetical order. The lists include the member's name, followed by their address and phone number.

    Description
    The Industrial Co-operation Committee was formed by the New South Wales Institute of Technology Developmental Council on 27th August, 1947. Its members were R. Webster (Convenor), W. Clegg, H. J. Conde, R. W. Harmon [J. Vernon, Acting], J. N. Kirby and F. M. Mathews. The Committee's terms of reference were: 1. Extent of research work and co-operation with industry. 2. Form of agreements with industry on the application of research work - grants and charges. 3. Patent rights. 4. Private consulting practice of staff. 5. Co-operative courses and day-time release of students from industry. 6. Programme for the immediate future. The only meeting for the Committee took place on 19th September, 1947, where it was decided that little further progress could be made by this committee at this stage, and that no further meetings should be held until after the main council had considered the work of other committees and some decision on general policy reached.

The minutes have been signed as approved by the Chairman of the Committee at a subsequent Committee meeting.

    Description
    The Building & Grounds Committee was established by the New South Wales University of Technology Developmental Council at its meeting on 27th August, 1947. The first Committee members were W. Clegg (Convenor), A. Denning, W. Kett, R. Parry-Okeden, F. Wilson and W. C. Wurth. Its responsibilities were: 1. Suitable site 2. Nature & layout of buildings and grounds. 3. Equipment requirements for buildings. 4. In each of the above consideration should be given to both long range plans and proposals for the immediate future. 5. Use of Technical College for the interim period. The inaugural meeting of the Committee occurred on 19th September, 1947, and the last on 24 March 1949.

The agendas show the issues that were to be addressed, while the papers consist of reports or other submissions that were to be discussed by the Committee. Most minutes have been signed as approved by the Chairman of the Committee at a subsequent Committee meeting. For some meetings, however, the University Archives only holds copies of the minutes - not the official signed versions. Agendas are also missing for a small number of meetings.
