    Description
    This series consists of the Personal and Leave Files of University Emeriti and Senior Officials, which have been maintained as University Archives. Each item is a registered file in TRIM, which has been transferred to the Archives. The files comprise a number of chronologically ordered documents relating to the employment history of a member of staff. In most instances, a staff member should have one Personal file and one Leave file, although some AGSM staff have multiple Personal files.

    This series consists of a copy of the publication, ADFA: The First 25 Years of the Australian Defence Force Academy. This book contains an overview and a brief history of ADFA, including significant events and the philosophy behind strategic decisions made. This item also contains some images relating to the Academy and students.

    This series consists of one copy of the publication, NIDA by John Clark. This item is a hardcover book, which provides a history and overview of NIDA, and includes a significant number of photographs. Contained within this copy of the text is a sheet of paper outlining Vice-Chancellor Hilmer's visit to NIDA on 8 June 2007.

    This series consists of the Booklets of Presentation of Prizes & R. K. Murphy Lectures, David Mellor Lectures, Andrews Lectures and Howard Memorial Lectures of the School of Chemistry (1) / School of Chemical Sciences / Chemistry (2). The material is typed and maintained in a manilla folder and includes Presentation of Prizes booklets, as well as R. K. Murphy Lectures, David Mellor Lectures, Howard Memorial Lectures and Andrews Lectures booklets (from ca.1982 these were endowed by the Chemical Society). The 1989 presentation also included the opening of the Museum of the History of Science.

    Copies of terms of reference, minutes and reports relating to the Joint Committee on Higher Education (A46). These papers have been kept by Mr Fraser in his capacity as Secretary to the Developmental Council and Assistant ot Mr Heffron, Minister for Education, and Mr Denning, head of Technical Education. They were used by Mr Fraser in writing the first history of the university and are duplicates of S40. Related to Minutes & Papers of the New South Wales Institute of Technology Joint Committee on Higher Education from 29/04/1948 to 07/06/1948

    Description
    Minutes, agendas and papers of meetings of the Heads of Schools and Departments/ Heads of Schools Committee of the Faculty of Arts/ Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The University Archives' holdings of this series derives from two sources and consist of copies of the minutes, agendas and papers from the School of History and the office of Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Arts starting from 1984. At the meetings the dean reports to the heads on university policy and administration and on academic issues discussed at the Vice Chancellor's Advisory Committee (VCAC). Matters raised are those of accommodation, use of faculty facilities, equipment, accounts, enrolments, and procedures for course approval, recruitment and selection procedures for staff, et al. Also discussed are matters like special grant applications and collaboration in teaching between different schools. Other records realting to heads of school meetings held by the Archives date from early 1963 to 1974 and consist of circulars to heads of schools of the faculty, papers relating to meetings as well as handwritten notes of meetings kept by the head of the school of French.

    This series consists of the Atomic Rise & Fall: the Australian Atomic Energy Commission (1953 - 1987) by Clarence Hardy. Each item is a typed, hard-cover book, which covers the history of the Australian Atomic Energy Commission since its beginnings in 1953. The Archives holds two copies of this publication.
